We are Civey
Pioneer for digital market and opinion research in real time
In a world full of changes, we create orientation and provide answers to the questions of our time. To this end, we have been breaking new ground in market and opinion research in Berlin since 2015: we collect and combine data in real time to create a "bigger picture". This gives customers and everyone who takes part in our surveys a head start in terms of knowledge. As a tech company, we rely on classic survey statistics with artificial intelligence - fast and reliable.
For us, data is more than just insights. It enables well-founded and sustainable decisions with impact. As a pioneer in our industry, we recognise relevant trends at an early stage, make opportunities visible and create clarity. Above all, we see ourselves as a companion in transformation processes. With intelligent data solutions and a passion for change, we advise and support our customers - and are always there to answer any questions.
Today, employees from all over the world work at our office in Berlin-Mitte, including numerous statisticians, data scientists and developers.

Scientific support and methodology
Civey's innovative methodology: We use surveys on thousands of websites from partners such as T-Online.de to collect our data. Our questions cover all aspects of society, from politics, business, technology and sport to consumer behavior. Millions of votes are generated every month.
In order to generate reliable results, we conduct a comprehensive automated process. After registering users with their gender, postcode and year of birth, participants are verified based on their further response behavior, among other things. The algorithm developed by Civey recognises bots and systematic lying. In the subsequent weighting process, the algorithm identifies the factors that are decisive for a representative result.
Civey combines innovative technologies with proven survey statistics. We have already proven the credibility of our results in numerous elections. The methodology developed in-house was also validated externally. Experienced survey statisticians such as Prof Ulrich Rendtel from the Free University of Berlin have classified the methods as valid. Other research partners include the German Institute for Economic Research and the Institute for Statistics and Econometrics at the Free University of Berlin.
